Platinum Grand Margarita
Ingredients:
3 oz Margarita mix
1 1/4 oz Gold tequila (Cuervo 1800)
1/4 oz Grand Marnier
1/4 oz Cointreau
1/4 oz Triple sec
1/4 oz Irish Mist
1/4 oz fresh Lime juice
5 cubes Ice
Preparation:
Salt the rim of your margarita glass and add freshly squeezed lime juice to your glass. Add margarita mix, tequila, grand marnier, cointreau, triple sec, irish mist, and 5 ice cubes in a shaker. Shake vigorously until thoroughly mixed and cold. Pour into margarita glass and garnish with a lime wheel. Adding a maraschino cherry is an interesting touch.
This margarita is surprisingly sweet and smooth. Make one of these and you'll probably make another. A variation of this recipe would be to add 1/4 oz. Blue Curacao.
